HOUSE RULES
These terms and conditions govern all bookings/reservations made (whether through website, email, telephone or other means) with Melange Luxury Service Apartments (“us”/“we”) situated at Lavelle #21, vittal mallya road, Bangalore for the use of the Serviced Apartment/suite/room by You and You are deemed to have accepted the same in full.

1. Booking: |
|
|
You undertake that the information provided by You for the purpose of booking the Service Apartment/suite/room, is true, accurate, current and complete information about Yourself or the company. If You have used our services on behalf of a company or other entity, then You represent and warrant that that You have the authority to bind such company or other entity to the terms and conditions of this agreement. In case the information provided by You is untrue, inaccurate and false we have a right to terminate your booking or refuse the current or future use of the Service Apartment/suite/room with immediate effect without prior notice and any refund.
Only the number of guests specified in the booking is allowed to stay in the Service Apartment/suite/room. Children under 2 years of age do not count towards the number of guests, as long as they do not require the use of additional beds.
Visitors to guests after 10.30 pm will be required to register themselves at the reception with a valid photo ID and will be charged as per extra bed charges. |

2. Deposit: |
|
|
You are required to pay the deposit to confirm the booking (whether through website, email, telephone or other means). The deposit amount will depend on the type of Service Apartment /suite/room booked by You. The payment for the reservation deposit should be made via Credit Card or Bank Transfer or demand draft or Cash. |

|
| 3. Rates: |
|
|
Each Service Apartment/suite/room has different rates, depending on size, location and facilities. Rates are established in terms of days, weeks or months, depending on the duration of the stay and the number of guests. These rates shall include accommodation plus other facilities like water, gas, electricity, sheets and towels during the stay . The rates are exclusive of any Government taxes, which are applicable from time to time.
The payment should be made only by way of cash/demand draft or through credit card. Cheques are not acceptable. Further the payments by foreign nationals / Indian nationals shall settle their stay bills in acceptable foreign currency only. |

4. Luggage Storage: |
|
|
Luggage and other belongings may be kept in the luggage room at Your sole risk as to the damage or loss due to any reason. Luggage cannot be stored for a period more than 30 days. Any luggage left beyond the period of 30 days will be removed from the luggage room without prior notice . |

5. Your Valuables/Belongings: |
|
|
For Your convenience, safe deposit lockers are available in Your Service Apartment/suite/room to ensure the safety of Your valuables/belongings. You are specifically requested to lock the packages, suitcases, doors and rooms when going out or when going to bed; under any circumstances the key tag should not be kept in the main door lock. In any case, we will not be held responsible for the loss damage of theft or pilferage of Your belongings or any other items not entrusted to us for which official receipt has not been obtained by You from us. |

6. Damage to property: |
|
|
You will be held responsible for any loss / damage to the properties of the Service Apartment /suite/room caused by You, Your relatives, or friends or by any person if visited or stayed with You. |

| 7. Prohibited Items: |
|
|
a. You are strictly prohibited to store articles of combustible or hazardous nature or any item that could cause /violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation . The Service Apartment /suite/room or any part thereof shall not be used for any purposes other than as residential accommodation. Immoral or commercial activity is strictly forbidden.
b. Commercial activity however could be carried on from the serviced offices only. |

| 8. Changes / Cancellation: |
|
|
Any change in the booking dates should be communicated to us as soon as possible by fax or email or telephone. All changes of date are subject to availability. If the Service Apartment/suite/room is available for the revised dates, then we will make the corresponding changes at no extra cost. In case the Service Apartment/suite/room You chose is not available for the new dates, we will offer a Service Apartment of similar characteristics.
If You wish to cancel the booking terms as per our cancellation policy apply(ADD LINK), we reserve the right to levy a whole period or pro-rata charges for cancellations as follows--
Cancellations made forty eight hours prior to arrival date (not arrival time)
a. One night charges in full for reservations less than seven nights
b. Two nights charges in full for reservations from seven to twenty eight nights
c. Three night charges in full for reservations of more than twenty eight nights.
Non-arrival without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation and will be subject to 100% cancellation charge. |

9. Extensions: |
| |
|
Any request of extension of the stay should be sent to us as soon as possible. All extensions are subject to availability and rate change. Failure to give notice of an intention to extend a stay may result in Your Service Apartment/suite/room being booked by another guest.
Where notice of intention to extend your stay has been given, we reserve the right to take all additional payments and charges (plus any further deposit requirements).

| 10. Our Rights: |
We reserve the absolute right of admission to any person into the premises of the apartmenthotel. service apartment/suite/room.
In case of default of any of the terms and conditions of this agreement we can request You to vacate the Service Apartment/suite/room at any moment without previous notice / intimation and without assigning any reason what so ever and You shall be bound to vacate the Service Apartment/suite/room immediately. We will be entitled to remove Your luggage / belongings from the Service Apartment/suite/room occupied by You. |

11. Our lien on Your luggage and belongings: |
|
|
|
In case of default in payment of dues by You, we shall have a lien on the luggage and belongings, and we shall detain the same and sell or auction such property at any time after the day of departure without reference to the party and appropriate net sale proceeds towards due from You. |

12. No Tenancy: |
| |
|
Nothing herein above shall constitute or be deemed to constitute any tenancy, sub tenancy or any right or interest in the apartment or any part or portion thereof in favor of any guest or resident or visitor and we shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession and control of the apartments/suites/rooms/serviced offices. You are required to observe the Government Rules and Regulations in force from time to time in respect of registrations, taxes, alcoholic drinks, firearms, foreign currency payments etc. |

13. Arrivals and Departures: |
|
|
Check in time is 12 noon and check out time is 11 a. m the next day. You are requested to inform the reception 1 (one) hour prior to checkout to help housekeeping department to prepare a checklist. Any additional hours of occupation outside the available times in each period of 24 hours will be charged as one extra day unless otherwise agreed. Early check in/late checkout cannot be guaranteed unless the booking is made from the night before arrival/for the night after departure. |

| 14. Nuisance: |
|
|
You are expected to behave in a reasonable manner and to allow fellow guests to enjoy peacefully the surrounding environment. We reserve the right to cancel any booking with immediate effect and without refund if Your behavior is causing any sort of nuisance or disruption to fellow guests or uses threatening or abusive behavior towards our staff on the phone in writing or in person. |

| 15. Liability: |
|
|
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance which is beyond its reasonable control.
Events beyond our control shall include but is not limited to the riots, civil commotion, wars, hostilities, embargoes, actions by government or any agency thereof, acts of God, storms, fires, accidents, strikes, sabotage, explosions or other similar or different contingencies beyond the reasonable control of the party.
Accidents to children left unattended in the premises is not our liability. |

| 16. Amendment of Terms & Conditions: |
|
|
We reserve the right to add / delete or to alter or amend any of the above terms and conditions and rules at any time without notice. |
|
| 17. Jurisdiction: |
|
|
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and courts at Bangalore shall have jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising out of this agreement.
